Is feng shui magic?

Someone asked me the other day if feng shui is a form of magic. And it got me thinking, everyone seems to have their own idea of what magic is–  some think of trickery, or fairy tales, fictional realms, evil spells. Spend a little time studying quantum physics or the placebo effect and science starts to feel very much like magic. We live in a free will universe, a realm of polarity. And I do believe magic is real, both in good forms and darker forms. It is imperative to stay in the frequency of love and honor when practicing magic, lest you get yourself tangled in a whole bunch of unpleasant karma.

So there are lots of rituals that produce repeatable results. People practice magic every single day, whether they know it or not. You are co-creating your reality from the inside out, so much more than you realize.

The dictionary results on google give a few definitions of magic:

1) The art or practice of using charms, spells, or rituals to attempt to produce supernatural effects or control events in nature.

2) The charms, spells, and rituals so used.

3) The exercise of sleight of hand or conjuring, as in making something seem to disappear, for entertainment

I would use the first and second of the above definitions of magic to discuss feng shui. Feng shui does involve rituals, it does produce supernatural effects, and although I wouldn’t use the word “control”, it harnesses the already-present influence of the natural elements.

We all have magical abilities, so far beyond what we’ve been programmed to believe is possible. Telekinesis, telepathy, remote viewing, quantum healing, these are skills that can be cultivated, and to some of us they are innate. Ask a thousand children to bend a spoon with their mind, and usually at least one can do it easily and automatically. Many more can do it with some practice.

The forces that would like to control us would like us to believe that magic isn’t real, especially the magic that comes from the creative power of the heart. When we remember what we’re really capable of, victim-consciousness seems a lot less appealing.

Feng shui is one of my favorite forms of magic, reminding me of the power of my intention and the humbling power of the natural world, and the privilege that we have in this lifetime to manifest in physical form.

When you see how magical the fabric of reality is, the power of consciousness in the microcosm and macrocosm, then the dramatic results we see in feng shui start to make a lot more sense.

More to say on this, but we’ll leave it here for now.

With love,

Valerie
